Stuart Crawford Associates Appointed by
The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) has engaged the services of Stuart Crawford Associates to assist with its political communications in Scotland. BACP is the largest professional membership association within the counselling and psychotherapy sector in the UK. Through its contact programme it seeks to advise and inform national and international policy and procedures concerned with counselling and psychotherapy, offering information and guidance to those working and involved in the process. Through regular consultation, the Association offers advice, as appropriate, to the Governments throughout the UK on all counselling and psychotherapy matters.
Stuart Crawford said: “I’m delighted to have been asked by BACP to assist to enhance its profile and engagement in Scotland. Politically, this is a most interesting time north of the Border and the Association’s renewed focus is both appropriate and timely. I look forward to the challenge.”
BACP Deputy Chief Executive Alan Jamieson said: “BACP is seeking to increase its voice within the Scottish Parliamentary system and to be more widely known as the principal consultant on mattes relating to the professional practice of counselling and psychotherapy in Scotland. “
