Edinburgh World Heritage Appoints Stuart Crawford Associates

Edinburgh based public affairs agency advises World Heritage Site

Edinburgh World Heritage (EWH) has appointed Stuart Crawford Associates to assist with its political and media communications.  EWH is the official guardian of the UNESCO World Heritage Site which comprises the Old and New Towns of Edinburgh.  Its primary purpose is the management, protection and enhancement of the World Heritage Site.

Stuart Crawford said: “We’re obviously delighted to be associated with such an iconic world site, not least because it’s the very one in which we are located.    The site generates a great deal of interest and attention from all around the world and EWH is constantly in the media and public eye.  It has a considerable commitment to answering political and media inquiries and we’re very pleased to have been asked to help them with it.  At the same time, EWH has a number of other initiatives in hand and we look forward to playing our part in them too.”

David Hicks, Communications Manager of EWH, said: “Our brief was to make the work of EWH more visible, to enable us to clearly demonstrate the public value of the World Heritage Site.  Stuart’s experience of representing other heritage bodies and his knowledge of political lobbying made him the ideal candidate.”
